Pilar Zip Line

Description:
A zip line atop of the historic Mt. Samat, and this will draw more tourists in this strategic and fast developing town in Bataan. The initial length of the zip line will be approximately 550 meters starting from atop Mt. Samat shrine going down to Dungsulan Falls.

Known internationally being the site of the yearly celebration of "Araw ng Kagitingan," Mt. Samat has been a prominent venue for tourism in Bataan not only for its rich history, but its unique environment and view overlooking Manila Bay and nearby provinces of Pampanga, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija.

Alice Pizarro, Pilar tourism council chair, said the ride to a height of 43 meters above sea level costs P350 per person. One could either ride a shuttle or hike from the foot of the historic mountain in Barangay Diwa to the launch pad. Riders at the end of the zipline will land and step out to a hanging bridge and stairs down the ground in Dunsulan Falls.
